Get Started Checklist
It’s Easier Than You Think.
You likely already know most of the information you need to prepare your estate plan. Most of it you either have in your address book or carry around in your head.
If you have a copy of the deed(s) to real estate you own, that will be helpful. If you don’t know where they are, I can help find that information.
For each job you need to fill, for example, your financial representative, you will want to have one or more backups.
For each person you name, I will need their name, address and telephone number.
There are THREE basic types of information you will need to gather:
1. Who will help take care of things for you?
Financial Representative
Guardian for Minor Children
2. What assets do you have?
Bank Accounts, Investments, Real Estate, Life Insurance, Personal Property.
3. Who will receive your assets?
You will be listing your first and subsequent choices.
Sometimes it is helpful to create a flowchart showing alternate beneficiaries if the first people listed die before you do.
It is quick, easy and painless.
We help you every step of the way.
